Natasha has created a beautiful sustainable clinic named ‘Breathing Space’ which is home to her body work and Lunar Goddess temple offerings.
Breathing Space is located in central Broadstairs, just a five-minute walk from Broadstairs train station. There is parking for two cars on the drive. The clinic is a four roomed wooden structure to the rear of the family home comprising of a spacious clinic room, a waiting room, bathroom with shower plus a bedroom, with underfloor heating throughout.
Sustainability and environmentalism are really important to Natasha and her family. Solar panels sited on the roof of the clinic generate electricity to fuel the underfloor heating, to launder textiles used in treatments and to contribute towards the energy requirements of their home plus the family electric car.
Environmentally friendly cleaning products and steam cleaners are used for both the clinic and home. All products used at Breathing Space are ethical and cruelty free. Most products are organic, all are natural. Many herbs used in treatments are grown on the family allotment and products brought in come in biodegradable packaging or are recyclable where ever possible. Breathing Space aims to minimise all waste.
Group workshops, courses and classes take place at Manor Barn in Canterbury which is also a sustainable environmental centre located on the outskirts of Canterbury. With parking for around 10 cars and powered by solar panels and an air pump convection system, Manor Barn Studio can accommodate 16 people for movement-based classes comfortably.
The 13 Moon and Temple of the Moon courses are run here. It is a tranquil personal development centre that offers a studio space, treatment rooms and a large country kitchen is used for breaks and lunch. We make use of the entire place including the outside area adjacent to the barn – the large wooden table that seats 12, the lawned area that can be used for yoga etc and the firepit for some ceremonies.
